Wright Bros. Propeller Collection Gets a Facelift
You can always spot a pilot by the old-time propeller hanging in the den. Now Sporty’s Wright Bros. Collection has updated these popular products in time for holiday giving. The six-foot Classic Wooden Propeller with brass edging is an authentic reproduction of that found on a World War I aircraft. The prop is hand-crafted from solid mahogany with brass-hammered edging around the blades and a detailed brass center hub. The propeller comes with its own hardware to make hanging simple.
Call for Entries: The Richard Collins Writing Prize for Young Pilots
The Richard Collins family has partnered with Sporty’s to offer The Richard Collins Writing Prize for Young Pilots. To qualify, the writer must be a pilot (including student pilot) who is 24 years of age or younger. The article must be original, not previously published, and no longer than 1500 words. The topic may reflect any aspect of general aviation flying.
