Sporty’s 10th Annual Fly-In

Sporty’s annual Fly-In will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Clermont County/Sporty’s Airport. In addition to the usual festivities, at this year’s Fly-In, the winner of Sporty’s 2014 Van’s RV-12 sweepstakes airplane will be announced at noon.

“Just fly in or drive in and we’ll roll out the red carpet,” says Sporty’s President Michael Wolf. “Tour the exhibits, attend seminars – and enjoy a free hot dog from Sporty’s for lunch.”

The Sporty’s Fly-In is the perfect way to spend a relaxed Saturday with fellow pilots. Exhibitors include Cessna Aircraft, Aspen Avionics, Garmin, Bose, Lightspeed, SkyOx, ForeFlight, Sigtronics and others. Representatives will be on hand to demonstrate their products and answer questions.

Seminars will be hosted by Garmin, Bendix/King, Aspen Avionics, ForeFlight, Air Mod and more.

“Would I be tempting fate to forecast no snow for us on May 17^th?” asks Wolf. “If you are as tired of winter as we are, start planning your Saturday at Sporty’s in the sunshine.”

Sporty’s flight instructors will be on hand to offer introductory flights through Sporty’s Academy, and tours will be available of Sandy’s Airpark at Sporty’s where prime airport-based homes are available. Aviation Exploring, Cincinnati Avionics and the University of Cincinnati Professional Pilot Training Program will be represented in the exhibit hall.
